Job Description
At BEUMER Group, we are shaping the future of intralogistics. As a global leader in automated logistics solutions, we develop innovative systems that power some of the world’s most advanced warehouses and distribution centers. At our Austrian competence center, you’ll work on cutting-edge pouch sorter technology together with international teams – building software that keeps complex logistics systems running smoothly and efficiently worldwide.
Your Role
- Develop and deliver software solutions for our modern Pouch System Controller
- Translate customer and system requirements into scalable, reliable backend systems
- Work across the full project lifecycle – from design and implementation to testing and go-live
- Build and optimize real-time logistics processes, system integrations and performance
- Collaborate closely with international teams across Austria, Germany and Poland
- Support commissioning and integration activities at customer sites.
Your Profile
- Technical education in IT or software engineering (HTL, FH, university or similar)
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented software development (Java, Kotlin, C#, etc.)
- Solid experience with backend frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and modern deployment environments
- Experience with Git/GitLab and collaborative development workflows
- Strong understanding of clean code, architecture and testing
- Fluent in German and English
- Open to occasional travel (approx. 20–30 days/year)
