Johnson Controls is looking for a Software Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience in data solutions to join our talented team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that utilize data solutions to enhance business operations and decision-making.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data-driven applications and solutions based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements.
- Implement best practices in software development, including testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Work with cloud technologies and data storage solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of software applications, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends related to data solutions and software development.
What We Look For:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in software development, particularly in data solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong experience with SQL and database management systems.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of data security and privacy principles.
