Team/Role Overview
You will be joining the IL development branch of DMC Global group. The development team is a group of experienced, talented developers specialized in BE technologies such as Java working closely with Data Scientists to introduce LLM based solutions to the platform.
We are part of larger global group, and your peers are in Shanghai, London and NAM.
This is an exciting opportunity to join and take part in developing the main Documents Platform for whole Citi Group, based on latest AI solutions.
What you’ll do
- Providing software end to end solutions – including high and low level design
- Developing software based on the best practices and leveraging the usage of AI tools to maximize your productivity
- Working with Global team of Product Manager, Program managers, architects and other development teams located in SH, NAM and LN
- Seeking for ways to constantly improve the platform with every task you are given
- Seek for automation on any manual work that you are exposed to.
- Delivering well tested quality products.
- Acting as a Technical Lead in your team – the technical go to person for junior developers to seek your guidance and help.
What we’ll need from you
- Solid and demonstrable experience in Java BE development with a focus on technical lead and driving transformation initiatives.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of spring and other BE frameworks, tools, and technologies.
- Experience working as Data Engineer supporting Data scientists
- Python knowledge
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Education: bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems).
