- Lead the architectural design and development of our software systems using .NET, C#, Azure, React, NextJS , and Vercel.
- Advocate and implement best practices in microservices architecture, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services tailored to our retail environment.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Guide and mentor multiple Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural designs and best practices.
- Contribute to the Backend Chapter to improve overall standards across the teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology decisions with business goals, driving innovation and efficiency across all digital platforms.
- Stay current with retail industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that our architecture remains innovative and competitive.
- Drive continuous improvement in our software architecture, processes, and practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a software architecture role.
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, Azure, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions
- Bonus: GraphQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems.
- Experience leading Agile development teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of integrating SaaS solutions and managing a complex digital ecosystem.
