The role

This role will support the implementation of Bupa’s social media strategy across Bupa Group channels.
With an eye for detail and exceptional writing skills, this role will help implement social media best practice, be the point of contact for Bupa’s Group social channels and play a key role in ensuring the activity on our social channels reflects our values as a brand.
You’ll be a team player who can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop social content, manage a busy social media calendar, and oversee regular reporting on social and content performance.

You’ll help us make health happen by

Social media

  • Oversee social media posting for BAU activity and brand campaigns in collaboration with our social and creative agency
  • Oversee BAU social content franchises and business news announcements
  • Coordinate big moments on our social channels with relevant teams and market-led social teams
  • Build relationships with your counterparts in the markets
  • Manage the use of social tools (e.g Sprout)
  • Support implementation of social media guidelines and Tone of Voice
  • Support the management of social channels – Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Work with our agency to build follower growth and improve engagement
     

Content

  • Oversee content calendar and planning for social channels
  • Manage review and approvals of social content and ensuring it aligns with business messaging
  • Find interesting stories and spokespeople to profile from around the business on our social channels
  • Support on briefs for content shoots and be on-hand to attend shoots
  • Closely collaborate with brand colleagues, internal and external comms, and other key internal stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a similar social media or communications role (either in-house
    or agency)
  • Experience with social analytics and paid social campaigns
  • Exceptional written English and attention to detail – this role involves close scrutiny of copy and content
  • Some experience of stakeholder management
  • A flexible, adaptable and collaborative approach
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and keep up with a fast-paced team delivering exciting campaigns in 2025
  • Strong organisational skills
