Senior Smartsheet Solution Architect

An enterprise client is seeking an experienced Sr. Smartsheet Solution Architect to support the continued growth and modernization of its Project Management Office (PMO). This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale Smartsheet solutions that improve project, program, and portfolio management across the organization.

The selected consultant will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to build scalable workflows, governance frameworks, dashboards, automations, and reporting solutions that drive operational efficiency and standardize project delivery across multiple teams.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale Smartsheet solutions for PMO and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) initiatives.
• Architect and maintain solutions using Smartsheet Control Center and other premium Smartsheet applications.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, user-friendly workflows and solution designs.
• Develop dashboards, reports, automations, Dynamic Views, Data Shuttle workflows, and WorkApps.
• Create standardized project templates, governance frameworks, and best practices that support organizational growth.
• Recommend improvements for solution architecture, data organization, workflow efficiency, and platform scalability.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to continuously improve PMO processes and Smartsheet capabilities.
• Document solution designs, configurations, implementation guides, and technical best practices.
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve project visibility, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Smartsheet Control Center.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Smartsheet solutions.
• Strong expertise with Smartsheet premium applications, including:
  • Control Center
  • Dynamic View
  • Data Shuttle
  • Dashboards
  • Reports
  • Automations
  • WorkApps
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, workflow design, governance, and scalable data organization.
• Experience supporting enterprise PMOs, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), or large-scale business operations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently recommend scalable solutions and best practices.

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or REST APIs.
