Your impact

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable systems on AWS and Kubernetes: Architect highly reliable infrastructure for a fast-growing, cloud-native platform.
  • Support critical fintech business logic applications built in Java: Ensure the systems that power our core advisor and investment tools are robust, secure, and high-performing.
  • Mentor other engineers: Champion reliability best practices and help grow a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
  • Own strategies for incident response, disaster recovery, and capacity planning: Help keep our systems resilient and our customers confident.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to define and monitor SLOs/SLIs: Turn metrics into actionable reliability goals.
  • Drive initiatives to improve performance, reliability, and infrastructure cost-efficiency: Look for opportunities to automate, optimize, and scale smarter.

What you bring

  • Experience - 7+ years of experience working in Site Reliability Engineering or a related role: A proven track record of maintaining and improving system reliability.
    • Expertise in AWS services and Kubernetes, including infrastructure as code tools like Terraform: Deep knowledge of cloud services and container orchestration.
    • Strong programming skills and experience with automation frameworks: Proficiency in programming, scripting and automating tasks to enhance system efficiency.
    • Experience supporting Java-based business applications: Familiarity with Java application deployment and performance tuning.
    • Experience with DevOps infrastructure tools and AI technologies: Knowledge of tools that support DevOps practices and AI frameworks is a plus.
    • Experience with Apache Spark and AI technologies: Familiarity with big data processing frameworks and AI integration is a big plus.
  • Education - Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science.
  • Technical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks.
  • Ownership - The pride you put into every aspect of your work is unparalleled and undeniable
  • Superb communication - Intentional dialogue is a superpower. You listen as well as you share your perspective with others.
  • Resilience - We’re inspired by your unwavering determination to achieve success, no matter the adversity you face along the way.
  • Assurance - Your confidence is brilliant, yet ego-less. You possess a strong knowledge base, the ability to discover the unknown, and are open to differing perspectives.
  • Creative problem solving - Identifying the problem is simply not enough. You’re instinctually creative with your approach in finding solutions to roadblocks.
