We are currently searching for a Sr Application Performance and Observability Engineer:
The Challenge (Responsibilities)
- Lead the technical investigation and implement end-to-end application traceability across complex systems.
- Diagnose and resolve network, proxy, load balancer, and TLS troubleshooting issues.
- Perform API latency, timeout, retry, and dependency failure analysis.
- Execute browser-to-backend transaction tracing, Real User Monitoring, and frontend error analysis.
Your Profile (Requirements)
- Deep Java application performance engineering experience.
- Strong WebSphere and WebLogic diagnostic skills.
- JVM profiling, garbage collection analysis, heap dumps, and thread dumps.
- Application-level structured logging and correlation ID implementation.
- Distributed tracing across applications, APIs, and downstream dependencies.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog, New Relic, or similar APM tools.
- Oracle performance diagnostics, including SQL execution plans, AWR, and ASH.
- JDBC connection pools, application thread pools, and session management.
- Experience tracing transactions across legacy or partially instrumented platforms.
- High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
- Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."
