Our name reflects our mission. “GE” carries a legacy of quality and ingenuity. “Ver” signals Earth’s lush ecosystems, while “Nova” nods to a new era of lower-carbon energy we are helping to deliver.

Electrification

Our Electrification solutions modernize grids, enable renewable integration, and strengthen energy systems. From software to power conversion and storage, we help create smarter, more resilient energy networks.

Let’s Talk about the Role

The Senior Site Manager will oversee the complete lifecycle of site activities, ensuring that construction, building, and commissioning projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You will act as the primary lead for project execution on-site, serving as the central point of coordination between your team and the overall project leadership. Your role is essential in translating project goals into site-level action, managing resources effectively, and ensuring that every phase—from mobilization through to final commissioning—meets our rigorous contractual and regulatory commitments.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Leading the entire scope of site activities, managing execution teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Driving consistent quality and performance across all construction and commissioning phases, serving as a best-practice resource for your team.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to solve complex operational challenges and optimize site workflows.
  • Improving project outcomes by applying technical expertise to data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Fostering a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring all site operations adhere strictly to company policy and local regulations.
  • Developing your team by acting as a mentor and resource, building consensus, and influencing key project outcomes.

Special Role Requirements

  • Able to travel extensively to and from projects and various field assignments.
  • Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.
  • Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments.

Skills for Success

You should be a motivated leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments, with:

  • The ability to lead diverse site teams through full project lifecycles.
  • The capability to resolve moderately complex technical problems using analytical judgment.
  • An understanding of best practices in site management and construction project integration.
  • An expertise in operational management within a project-based environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and build consensus.

A formal education or degree in a relevant technical or engineering field is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements in site and project management.

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in the United Kingdom. As this is a site-based role, you will be on-site to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.
