The Haverhill YMCA is seeking a Senior Site Coordinator to provide leadership and operational oversight for three licensed before- and after-school program sites. In this role, you'll work closely with the Program Director to ensure high-quality programming, support Site Coordinators and staff, maintain licensing compliance, and build strong relationships with children, families, and school partners.

What You'll Do

💙 Provide leadership and operational oversight for three licensed before and after-school program sites.

👥 Supervise, mentor, and support Site Coordinators and program staff, helping them grow professionally while maintaining high program standards.

📋 Ensure programs operate in compliance with Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) licensing regulations and YMCA policies.

🎨 Help create engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, social-emotional development, and healthy living.

🤝 Build positive relationships with children, families, school administrators, and community partners.

📅 Support staffing, scheduling, program operations, and problem-solving across multiple locations.

📝 Maintain program documentation, monitor quality standards, and ensure program resources are organized and readily available.

☀️ During the summer, serve in a leadership role within YMCA Day Camp programs, helping create safe, engaging, and memorable experiences for campers and staff.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 20 years old
  • Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must meet EEC qualifications of a Site Coordinator and have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience working with school-aged children in a program setting
  • Senior Site Coordinator positions available will oversee sites with 81+ licensing capacity, previous Site Coordinator or relevant experience required.
