Job Description
Report to Manager
Job summary:
You will design Assembly line design from scratch
from existing layout considering Line balancing, Throughput validation,
Material flow, Space availability, assembly cost and cycle time.
Requirements:
o Design assembly line design, production & inspection station
design from scratch and develop assembly line layout.
o Design assembly layout with clear description of material
movement, assembly, inspection, packaging, etc
o Calculate/Detailing on Assembly line efficiency, operator
efficiency, Line Balancing
o Ability to prepare assembly process simulation
o Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
o Good understanding of Product BOM and connected processes in
the manufacturing
o Have good understanding about assembly manufacturing process in the plants with series production and processes about manufacturing, quality, inventory, dispatch.
Strong written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
Minimum qualifications & Experience
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from reputed college with
minimum 70% aggregate throughout education. & Experience
At least 6 years experience on assembly line design and validation.
Experience working in plants coordinating design to manufacturing, Production Planning and Control (PPC), Quality Functions, components level manufacturing.
o Working with Material master, ECR functions and release in SAP
To simulate existing assembly lines, plant layout, material flow, line balancing, throughput and Man-Machine-Material assessment
