We are seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer to design, develop, modernize, and maintain enterprise SharePoint solutions across secure federal environments. This role will support mission‑critical collaboration platforms, workflow automation, modernization initiatives, and custom application components leveraging SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Azure services.
The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in SharePoint development, M365 modernization, and Azure-integrated solutions, along with experience supporting secure, compliance‑driven environments.
What You Will Do:
Design, develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint Online and SharePoint on‑prem solutions, including sites, lists, libraries, content types, workflows, and automation.
Develop modern SharePoint Framework (SPFx) applications, extensions, web parts, and custom integrations with Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
Migrate legacy SharePoint content, InfoPath workflows, and custom applications to modern SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
Build and support solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Graph API integrations when applicable.
Collaborate with federal stakeholders to gather requirements, translate mission needs into technical solutions, and provide expert guidance on platform capabilities.
Integrate SharePoint solutions with Azure AD/Entra, cloud APIs, identity services, and secure application patterns.
Troubleshoot complex issues across SharePoint sites, workflows, custom applications, and authentication layers.
Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, accessibility, and data governance standards required in federal environments.
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution design artifacts.
What You Will Need:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance and ability to obtain SCI.
Minimum of Six (6) years of experience in Windows developing SharePoint solutions in enterprise or federal environments.
Strong hands‑on expertise with SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and M365 services.
Experience with SPFx, TypeScript, JavaScript/React, .NET, REST services, and Microsoft Graph.
Experience supporting secure and compliance-driven environments (Federal Civilian, DoD, IC, Law Enforcement, or similar).
Strong understanding of Azure AD/Entra identity, permissions, authentication, and application integration.
Excellent communication, requirements-gathering, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have Certifications:
Microsoft 365 Developer Associate (MS‑600).
SharePoint Associate or SharePoint Expert Certification.
Azure Developer Associate (AZ‑204).
Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Familiarity with federal cloud environments (GCC, GCC‑High, DoD).
Experience with DevOps pipelines, Git repositories, and CI/CD integrations.
Understanding of Zero Trust principles, NIST 800‑53, RMF, and federal compliance requirements.
Experience with content migration tools (ShareGate, Metalogix, AvePoint, etc.).
