What’s the Opportunity?

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will be a technical specialist within our Shared Services platform team. This is a deeply technical, hands-on role where you will be responsible for guiding our quality strategy and developing robust test automation systems for the services that power our global platform—including authentication, telemetry, and provisioning.

You’ll play a key role in our effort to unify global systems, tackling complex quality challenges in performance, resiliency, and security by building scalable and reliable test infrastructure.

• Guide Automation Strategy: Design and build critical, high-performance automated test frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript), Go, and .NET.
• Deep Dive into Quality: Validate the behavior of our shared services, ensuring resilience, efficiency, and security through comprehensive automation.
• Steward Quality End-to-End: Define and implement the automated validation that ensures our services are robust, reliable, and something the whole team is proud of.
• Support Platform Unification: Collaborate across teams to build a cohesive, scalable test infrastructure, applying risk-based analysis to prioritize automation.
• Mentor and Grow: Support your team members by sharing quality engineering best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Development: Partner closely with engineers to embed quality throughout the SDLC, influencing testability and facilitating rapid feedback loops.

• Automation Expertise: Significant hands-on experience (typically 3-5+ years) with tools & programming languages used for automation, such as Playwright (TypeScript), Go, or .NET.
• Framework Design: A strong mindset for test automation, with the ability to design everything from low-level component tests to end-to-end system validation frameworks.
• CI/CD Integration: Proven experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks integrated with team CI/CD pipelines.
• Adaptability: A technology-agnostic approach and the ability to pick up new languages or frameworks to get the job done right.
• Collaborative Nature: An inquisitive and proactive approach to learning and improving quality outcomes as a team.

Bonus Points: Experience in specialized areas such as performance testing, security testing, or accessibility (a11y) testing.
