- Break down functional and business requirements into tangible, clear, and estimable technical solutions, providing recommendations to management and project stakeholders.
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules leveraging platform best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities wherever possible.
- Develop scalable and maintainable solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, IRM, CMDB, Employee Center, Integrations, and custom applications as required.
- Design and implement integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, Flow Designer, and third-party platforms.
- Write and maintain automated tests to improve code quality, regression coverage, and platform stability.
- Ensure quality, security, performance, and adherence to ServiceNow development standards, architectural principles, and governance requirements.
- Perform technical design reviews, code reviews, and solution validations to ensure compliance with established development and architecture standards.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, testers, product owners, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable long-term solutions.
- Lead technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, platform modernization activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support platform upgrades, patching activities, release management, and post-deployment validation activities.
- Contribute to CMDB, CSDM, Platform Analytics, AI, Virtual Agent, and automation initiatives as part of the broader ServiceNow roadmap.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, integration specifications, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Mentor junior developers and team members, promoting development standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, scope changes, technical debt, and operational challenges, communicating variances and mitigation plans to management and project teams.
- Ensure all solutions are designed with scalability, supportability, security, and long-term platform sustainability in mind.
