Wide Ripples Digital is seeking a highly experienced Senior SEO Consultant to join us in an advisory capacity. We are a digital marketing agency managing multiple client projects simultaneously, and we are currently navigating the aftermath of a significant website migration including a subdomain-to-primary domain transition and structural content changes that have impacted our organic rankings and visibility.
We need someone who has been through this before, knows exactly what to look for, and can guide our internal team with precision and confidence with the goal of not just recovering lost ground, but driving exponential traffic growth and measurable results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a full technical SEO audit to identify issues stemming from site migration, structural changes, and content updates
- Diagnose ranking drops, crawl and indexation issues, and redirect chain problems caused by the subdomain-to-domain migration
- Develop a clear, prioritized recovery roadmap and communicate it effectively to our internal team
- Provide strategic oversight across multiple client projects within a digital marketing agency environment
- Advise on multi-regional SEO strategy for businesses operating across multiple geographic markets
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline SEO workflows, accelerate diagnostics, and scale growth strategies across client projects
- Collaborate with our internal team, guide implementation of strategies, and maintain close review of performance to ensure measurable, exponential growth
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of SEO experience, with a strong focus on technical SEO and site migrations
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-regional SEO for businesses operating across multiple countries or markets — this is a core requirement
- Proven track record of diagnosing and recovering websites from migration-related ranking losses
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AI tools and automation as applied to SEO and digital marketing — ability to integrate these into strategy and execution is essential
- Prior experience working with or within a digital marketing agency — mandatory
- Proficient with WordPress and standard CMS platforms
- Expert-level use of tools including Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4
- Strong ability to identify root causes quickly and translate findings into clear, actionable guidance for an internal team
