About the role:

As Senior SEA Manager (m/f/d) in our New Customer Acquisition Team, you own our Google Shopping & Search and Bing campaigns from strategy to execution. You don't just manage campaigns. You architect them, challenge them, and relentlessly optimise them. With a sharp eye on KPIs and a hunger for efficiency, you identify levers others miss and turn insights into real business impact. 

This is a role for someone who loves the craft of paid search, thinks in systems, and brings a passion for AI-powered automation. You'll have real ownership, real budget, and real impact from day one. 

The position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 30 hours per week). 

Qualifications

About your tasks:

  • Plan, implement, and own Google Shopping & Search and Bing campaigns end-to-end. From strategy and structure to day-to-day optimisation. 

  • Strategically develop and scale the paid search advertising channel, shaping its long-term direction. 

  • Take full responsibility for significant advertising budgets,  spending them as if they were your own. 

  • Optimise the search & shopping campaign portfolio end-to-end: structure, bidding, audiences, feeds, and copy. 

  • Analyse performance data, surface insights, and translate them into concrete optimisation actions. 

  • Own the annual budget plan and KPI framework; present results and strategy to senior stakeholders. 

  • Lead A/B and multivariate testing initiatives  and turn learnings into lasting improvements. 

  • Collaborate closely with Analytics, Data, Pricing, and Country Management teams to ensure campaign relevance and measurement accuracy.

About you:

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEA / Performance Marketing experience, with proven ownership of Shopping and Search campaigns at scale. 

  • Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search & Shopping), Bing Ads, Google Merchant Center, and feed optimisation — tools like ProductsUp are a plus. 

  • Strong analytical mindset: you live in the data, love finding patterns, and know how to act on them. 

  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets; comfortable with attribution models and web analytics (GA4, etc.). 

  • Fluent English is a must; German is a strong plus and will give you an edge in our team. 

  • Our office is in Cologne. If you're nearby, great! If not, remote (within Germany)  works just fine for day-to-day. That said, we do have team events and moments where being in the office matters, and we'd expect you to join those.

Skills Required

  • 5+ years hands-on SEA / Performance Marketing experience with proven ownership of Shopping and Search campaigns at scale
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search & Shopping), Bing Ads, and Google Merchant Center
  • Experience with feed optimisation (e.g., ProductsUp is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and strong analytical mindset
  • Familiarity with attribution models and web analytics (GA4)
  • Experience planning and owning significant advertising budgets
  • Experience designing and running A/B and multivariate testing
  • Fluent English
