Job Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using recognized tools (Playwright, REST Assured, Cypress, Bruno, Cucumber, Appium, Maestro).
- Integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and maintain pipelines.
- Participate in defining and evolving the testing strategy: coverage, prioritization, test data, mocking/stubbing.
- Document, organize, and execute test cases in Jira/Xray, including traceability, execution, and reporting.
- Handle a portion of exploratory manual testing for non-automated scenarios.
- Participate in code reviews, impact analysis, and validation in collaboration with developers.
- Participate in capacity and performance testing (CPR).
- Analyze and diagnose defects (via logs, Datadog/Splunk as needed).
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, analysts, and quality integrators.
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum activities: planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Promote best practices in automated testing, continuous improvement, and DevOps principles (rapid feedback).
- Use and contribute to the evolution of AI agents dedicated to QA activities.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, a diploma in quality assurance, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a quality analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of test automation processes using recognized tools (Playwright, REST Assured, Cypress, Bruno, Cucumber, Appium, Maestro).
- Knowledge and experience with DevOps tools (Git, GitHub, Docker, Datadog, etc.).
- Understanding of tax slip regulation – An asset.
- Ability to structure and document work rigorously and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Clear and effective communication with both technical and business teams.
- Team spirit, rigor, autonomy, and initiative.
