Why this job’s a big deal:

As a Senior SDET in the Product Operating Model (POM), you are a strategic quality leader responsible for defining and driving automation strategy, test architecture, and quality standards across products.

This is not just a test execution role — you will own automated regression implementation at scale, embed quality engineering into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliability in complex FinTech and cloud-native systems where precision and data integrity are critical.

You will influence engineering practices, prevent defects through early quality integration, and ensure products are scalable, performant, and production-ready.

  • Improve regression execution time, stability, and coverage

  • Define test strategy for high-volume transactional systems (FinTech domain)

2. Quality Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design to define quality standards upfront

  • Review technical designs with a quality and risk-based mindset

  • Lead root cause analysis for production defects and drive preventative solutions

  • Mentor mid-level QEs and developers on automation best practices

  • Advocate for shift-left testing and continuous quality engineering

3. Advanced Testing & Risk Management

  • Validate complex workflows including:

    • Financial transactions

    • Reconciliation processes

    • Data integrity and ledger validation

    • Microservices and distributed systems

  • Drive non-functional testing (performance, reliability, resilience)

  • Identify quality risks and mitigation strategies early in the SDLC

  • Ensure release readiness through data-driven quality insights

4. Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track automation coverage and regression health metrics

  • Improve defect leakage rate and regression reliability

  • Provide leadership visibility into quality posture

  • Continuously enhance tools, frameworks, and quality processes

  • Influence cross-team quality standards within the organization

Who you are:

You are a quality engineering leader who thinks like a developer and acts like a product owner for quality.

  • 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / SDET roles

  • Strong programming expertise (Java / Python / Kotlin preferred)

  • Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch

  • Deep hands-on experience with tools like:

    • Selenium / Playwright / Cypress

    • RestAssured / API automation frameworks

  • Strong CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

  • Experience testing microservices and distributed cloud systems

  • Exposure to FinTech systems (payments, invoicing, reconciliation, high-volume transactions) preferred

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to debug complex system issues

  • Experience leading quality initiatives across squads
