Summary of This RoleSenior SDET, with profound automation testing experience, independently drives the testing/quality efforts of an application team. Designs, develops, runs and maintains automation testing frameworks using Java, Selenium, BDD/Cucumber. Runs the automation suits, identifies defects, provides test execution and defect reports in the agile/scrum methodology. Prepares good test scenarios/test cases. Builds quality in the SDLC/STLC process. Demoes the scripts/defects to the team. Communicates well with stakeholders.
What Part Will You Play?This role will focus on the testing web application, APIs, test automation, requirements analysis, executing regressions, and supporting product deployments.
• Hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test in an agile team(minimum 6 to 9 years of total experience.)
• Must have 3 to 4 years of Web Application Automation framework development experience using Java, Selenium & BDD/Cucumber.
• Good experience in testing API’s and UI.
• Must have expertise in programming language Java.
• Must be able to work independently & communicate, demo reports, demo automation scripts & defects to the team members/stakeholders.
• Active contribution in all aspects of software development from requirements to deployment, and even beyond.
• Provide test strategy, design, implementation for user stories and features.
• Ensure Defects are triaged to completion.
• Working hours: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Communicate ideas, issues, status, and outcomes with the team and managers.
• Professionally argue points and ensure the right solutions.
• Assist in promoting a positive team culture.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - Software Engineering, Information Systems or other Technical degree;
Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Exp - Professional experience with Software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with typically Minimum 6 Years of Relevant SDET Exp - Experience developing automation frameworks.
- Skills / Knowledge - Functional/manual testing, Automation testing, API testing, Agile/scrum methodologies
- Job Complexity - Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
- Supervision - Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
- Software Development Life Cycle / Testing Methodologies - Agile - Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc.
