About the Role
As Scientist/Senior Scientist, you will be responsible to expressing/purifying/characterizing antibody like molecules for therapeutic programs.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in protein purification of antibody like molecules
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology, Biochemistry, or similar field and 5+ years industry experience
- 10+ years of experience in Biologics discovery and engineering
- Expertise in mammalian and bacterial expression systems
- Hands on knowledge of multiple analytical techniques including, SEC HPLC/UHPLC, BLI/SPR, Flow Cytometry, and similar techniques
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques including cloning
- Experience setting up and configuring lab facilities and processes
- Proven contribution to therapeutic development and selection is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with researchers from diverse fields, including computational and experimental biologists, and provide scientific guidance, support, and leadership as needed
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior research associates
- Discovery of novel and biologically relevant biologics highly desirable
- Cell free expression systems experience advantageous
- Experience with mass spectrometry is highly desirable
- Experience using LIMS and Benchling systems
- Experience with liquid handling, robotics, and workflow automation
Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, seeking to provide an open, flexible, and friendly work environment to empower employees and provide them with a platform to develop their long-term careers. A Summary of Benefits is available for all applicants. The base pay range for this position is expected to be $133,000 - $182,000 annually; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the market, job-related knowledge, skills and capabilities, and experience.
