You will be part of a cross-functional team and lead RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects, with a particular focus on creating the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
As a Platform Lead, you will independently plan, manage and coordinate technical project tasks according to RDQ, marketing and production requirements, effectively communicate project status and risks, and plan, manage and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in compliance with good manufacturing practices and HACCP requirements. You will also plan, lead and coordinate development tasks (e.g. product durability trials, quality design, consumer test preparation, etc.). You use digital simulation models to obtain and evaluate consumer insights and commercial information, and can thus provide directional advice for product development. In this role, you will create and maintain accurate, consumer-oriented specifications, be responsible for stakeholder management and influence decisions based on insights derived from analyses and result evaluations.
What you will bring

  • University degree in Food Engineering or a Master of Science in a similar, food-related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in the industry and working in production/manufacturing environments
  • Experience leading RDQ teams and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to consider multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English language is a must have; language skills in German, French or another language are a strong advantage
  • Forward thinking on complex technical or business challenges and ability to identify and implement appropriate solutions
  • Technical interest and application of technical expertise to evaluate and analyse data
  • Effectively influence senior stakeholders (including cross-functional) through strong communication skills, both verbal and written (including preparation of technical reports/conclusions)
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Leading the processed cheese NPD platform as well as guiding the business on potential productivities options

What you need to know about this position:
In this role you will identify and lead innovation projects and work with new technologies in the field of Process Cheese in order to fill the innovation pipeline of 2025 and beyond. You will be in charge of identifying leading, planning and executing trials (Manufacturing, Plant & Pilot Plant) independently. You will closely work together with the commercial team in order to develop a deeper understanding of MDLZ local brands and to drive the growth agenda for this business (Dairlylea, Sottilette, El Caserio). In this role you will be exposed to different BUs & managing complexity which allows you to widen your network within the organization.
Travel requirements: About 40 %, depending on the phase of the project(s).
