Job Description
A talented and experienced Senior Science Writer/Editor who will be part of the Agilent Writing Center of Excellence is required to write and copyedit English language science marketing content. The role entails writing, editing, and proofreading a variety of digital marketing web and campaign content, application notes, white papers, and journal articles. Content is focused on the disciplines of chromatography, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, genomics, pathology, proteomics, and cell analysis. Market areas of focus include biopharma, pharma, energy and chemicals, materials testing, food, and environmental.
As a Senior Science Writer/Editor, you will support the Agilent Brand, using writing guidelines and approved terminology. The Agilent Writing Center of Excellence is an internal partner to Agilent's product lines, regions, and other functions.
Responsibilies:
- Writing and editing scientifically accurate and engaging customer-facing marketing and technical content
- Determining and developing approaches to assignments and leading writing projects which require co-ordination with other functions and third parties
- Applying broad concepts and business strategies to marketing content creation
- Solving complex, high-impact issues in science writing assignments
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level
Excellent English language grammatical skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods, including mass spectrometry, gas and liquid chromatography, and spectroscopy, would be helpful
Knowledge of genomics, pathology techniques, proteomics, and cell analysis, is desirable

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
