Job DescriptionAs a senior developer, primary responsibility is to design, build, test and deployment of functionalities in Bosch Product Backbone (BOP). This product is a application used by all division of Bosch worldwide. One of the components of this product is the Product Data search. The Product Data search searches with complex rules in AMDP and CDS using S4/HANA core functionalities.
Qualifications• Expert in SAP S/4 HANA Development. At best experiences in development of code that is used for process on group level in huge companies
• Should be able to understand the business needs and design and implement the requirements in SAP ABAP, BRF+, AMDP and CDS views.
• Ability to be able learn and understand the business processes and to improve efficiency and performance of current application using new technologies.
• Analyze and evaluate the requirements for application enhancement with customer and senior architects to validate the completeness of requirement from implementation perspective
• Solve business issues by analyzing existing code and proposing solutions using SAP S/4 HANA Services.
• Prepare technical design documents for unit testing and integration support. Ensure the quality reviews (Unit test) are conducted.
• Participate in project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews.
• Work closely with Architects and IT Functional Consultants to ensure successful completion of User Stories within committed timeframe
• Ability to represent and argue the technical and implementation decisions to the architects and the customer.
• Document implementation using UML/TOGAF in Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal development
• 3rd Level Support within own component in case of defects are not found in your quality assurance but occur on productive system
• Provide knowledge transfer to new team members and mentor them.
Skills Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience on S/4 HANA, AMDPs and CDS views
Programming languages and skills:
• ABAP (Other languages of advantage)
• UML/TOGAF
Development experiences :
• Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
• Business modeling rule framework (BRF+)
• Good knowledge in technical areas like CDS Views, AMDP, OOPs concept, Web services, ADBC concepts, RFC, and FPM
• Workflow Management
• In particular knowledge of databases features (S/4 HANA)
Business Processes
• MDM processes in Material master incl. Connected objects (Material classification, Document info records, Engineering Change Master, Bill of Material & Purchase info records)
• Documentation of technical functions and understanding of UML and TOGAF
