Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Engineer to support the development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of SAP applications while contributing to the organization's ongoing SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP development, custom SAP solutions, and system integrations, along with exposure to S/4HANA concepts such as custom code remediation, CDS Views, and HANA-optimized development. The role requires close collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver scalable, high-quality SAP solutions and ensure a successful S/4HANA transformation.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and support SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects.
- Develop and maintain RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Create and enhance ALV Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework objects.
- Develop and support integrations using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData Services, APIs, and middleware platforms.
- Collaborate with functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business processes.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production support issues and defects.
- Prepare technical specifications, design documents, unit test scripts, and deployment documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
- Support system testing activities including SIT, UAT, Hypercare, and production deployments.
- Contribute to the ongoing SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration by analyzing and remediating custom code for S/4HANA compatibility.
- Develop and optimize HANA-ready solutions using CDS Views, AMDP, and modern ABAP techniques where applicable.
- Perform custom code assessment, simplification checks, and performance optimization during migration activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transition of business processes to SAP S/4HANA.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability, and user experience.
- Provide timely support for critical incidents and participate in release and change management activities.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Migration, CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori/OData development, SAP CPI/PI integrations, custom code remediation, and HANA performance optimization.
