Job Description

• Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems and databases
• Perform system monitoring and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the SAP environment
• Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams and business stakeholders
• Develop and implement system upgrades and patches
• Ensure compliance with security standards and policies
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Work closely with SAP developers to support application development and testing
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Stay up-to-date with emerging SAP technologies and trends

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Basis
• Experience in the setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades, patches, and DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems
• Sound knowledge of at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2, etc
• Ability to communicate effectively with both peers and clients
• Advanced English knowledge and Conversational German level
