They are currently looking to grow further and seeking Senior ABAP Developer on a freelance basis to grow and prosper with them.
Mission:
As a Senior ABAP Developer, your mission will be to play a pivotal role in advancing their solutions. You will be expected to work independently but also as a part of a strong international team of like-minded individuals in developing, designing, and troubleshooting various SAP solutions. You will be expected to analyze functional and business requirements and understand the business context and processes to provide the best possible practical solutions to their international clients (Arab, Asian, and EU-based firms), especially within the Banking Sector. To be successful in this role, you will need to fully understand the business and constantly keep up with the technical requirements and demands as well as being customer - focused oriented. As a Senior ABAP Developer, you will get the opportunity to lead development projects and gain full ownership and responsibility.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborating closely with the Business Analysts and the Business Consultants to provide best practice solutions and recommendations
- Analyzing functional and business requirements of ABAP RICEFW objects and developing the best practical solutions
- Developing required DDIC objects, Classical reports, ALV reports, Interactive ALV, User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, new enhancement frameworks, BAPI’s, RFC’s, Module pool programming, BDC, adobe form, and smart forms
- Working with SOAP, REST API, SOA Architecture
- Developing test plans to ensure expected performance quality levels to meet development standards
- Delivering technical design documents and technical specifications for the objects
Must-Have:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Min. 5+ years’ experience in ABAP Programming with experience in all RICEFW development
- Work experience with basic functional modules
- Expertise in coding techniques and using best practices
- Extensive experience in ABAP debugging techniques, troubleshooting, and Performance Tuning
Nice to Have:
- SAP ABAP Certification
- Experience with Workflow development, enhancement, and troubleshooting
- Upgrade project experience
- Any working experience with modules of Loan Management, Cash Management, BCM, Treasury, eTravel, and HCM will be highly appreciated
