Senior Salesforce Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer who will play a key role in the design, development, testing and implementation of customizations, applications, extensions and integrations on the Salesforce platform. You will work with a team of fellow engineers and collaborate with various Blacklane departments and teams to translate business needs into effective and scalable solutions within Salesforce.

• Conceptualize and build Salesforce applications using standard salesforce functionality and SFDX, Apex, JavaScript and LWC when necessary. Additionally be able to leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support Blacklane’s business objectives.
• Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans.
• Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce.com platform
• Analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
• 3+ years of Salesforce administration and developer experience
• Salesforce Administrator certification
• Able to coach and mentor junior salesforce team members

• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
• Experience working with source control and continuous integration
• Experience working with integration of Salesforce and external systems
