The Salesforce Developer is responsible for the design, development and customization of the Salesforce platform to support the organization's business processes. This role involves collaborating with various teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure the optimal performance, scalability, and functionality of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications, objects, workflows, and processes using Salesforce declarative tools and Apex programming language.
  • Create and maintain Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and Lightning web components to enhance user experience and address business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
  • Customize and extend Salesforce functionalities using Apex triggers, classes, and asynchronous processes.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other business systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party applications to streamline processes and data sharing.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues related to configuration, customization, and usage of the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address system-related problems and implement solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, workflows, and processes.
  • Create user guides, technical specifications, and training materials to support end-users and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to recommend and implement enhancements to the platform.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Salesforce environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6+ years of minimum experience as a developer
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Platform App Builder or Salesforce Developer, are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools (Process Builder, Flow Builder), Apex programming language, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and integration techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, document processes, and provide user support.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Prior experience in development, and customization within the Salesforce platform
