Civica India is looking for a skilled, innovative, and self-driven senior engineer with significant experience across various aspects of the Salesforce platform who is eager to be part of a multicultural software company. The engineer will collaborate with the Salesforce team to guarantee that projects are thoughtfully envisioned, expertly developed, and successfully delivered to meet business requirements. This role involves overseeing every stage, from capturing initial requirements to designing, constructing, ensuring quality, and final deployment.
- Deliver Salesforce configuration and customisation following best practice and ensuring solutions are seamless, delivered quickly and accurately with appropriate documentation.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders and the project team.
- Ensure adherence to applicable standards (corporate, industry, national and international).
- Contribute technical expertise to project design and deliverables and take ownership of the modules assigned to you throughout the project.
- Take an active role in the practical design, development, and testing of innovative projects.
- Engage in governance activities throughout the projects, ensuring that solutions comply with both internal and external standards concerning the effectiveness, efficiency, confidentiality, integrity, availability, compliance, and reliability of all information, services, and processes related to architecture governance.
Requirements
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- We’re looking for candidates with at least 5 years of hands-on technical experience with Salesforce.
- Proficient in actively participating in meetings and engaging in meaningful discussions.
- Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycles, tools and methods to support seamless deployments, including refresh cycles and overall environment management.
- Dynamic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work at detailed and abstract levels.
- Capability to collaborate with external vendors as needed.
- A true enthusiasm for exploring the latest Salesforce innovations and staying informed about all the thrilling new feature launches.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development tools such as LWC, Visualforce, Apex, API, REST services, and JavaScript, in addition to experience with integrations involving corporate websites and custom solutions. Familiarity with single sign-on technologies (e.g., SAML, OAuth, Active Directory, ADFS) and experience in data migration processes to and from Salesforce, including a strong understanding of data models and schemas.
- Experience integrating with various Salesforce modules beyond Sales Cloud, as well as third-party solutions like Eloqua, LinkedIn, and numerous AppExchange offerings.
- Revamping and modernizing legacy applications.
- Management of Azure DevOps.
