Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to serve as a foundational leader in our Salesforce journey, supporting Sales, Service, Marketing, and Partner Onboarding. This is a high-impact role for an experienced administrator who thrives in early- to mid-stage Salesforce environments and wants to help define the future state of the Salesforce discipline, not just support it.
As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will:
- Operate as a platform owner and trusted advisor to the business.
- Influence org design, governance, and roadmap decisions.
- Balance hands-on configuration with strategic guidance.
- Work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight.
- Help evolve Salesforce from early adoption toward a scalable, enterprise-ready platform.
Responsibilities:
Salesforce Platform Ownership
- Own day-to-day administration of Salesforce across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing integrations, and partner-related workflows.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions using flows, validation rules, custom objects, reports, dashboards, and security models.
- Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and org-wide data access strategies.
- Ensure data integrity, usability, and performance as adoption and complexity grow.
Sales Pipeline & Forecasting Enablement
- Partner with Sales leadership to design and refine lead, opportunity, and forecasting processes aligned to manufacturing sales cycles.
- Build and maintain pipeline visibility, forecasting dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Support growth initiatives by ensuring Salesforce accurately reflects revenue motion, segmentation, and deal progression.
Business Partnership & Process Design
- Work directly with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Partner teams to understand requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Provide guidance on org structure and segmentation strategy, enabling autonomous operation where needed while defining shared enterprise capabilities.
- Act as the primary Salesforce point of contact for business stakeholders.
Platform Strategy & Governance
- Help define Salesforce governance, standards, and best practices as the platform matures.
- Contribute to the Salesforce roadmap, identifying enhancements, technical debt, and integration opportunities.
- Ensure solutions balance speed-to-delivery with long-term scalability and maintainability.
Independence & Leadership
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing priorities and execution across multiple stakeholders.
- Proactively identify gaps, risks, and opportunities and recommend improvements.
- Mentor junior admins or power users as the Salesforce team grows.
Education & Experience
Required:
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience; 3+ years of experience in a Salesforce Admin role.
- Experience supporting Salesforce in a manufacturing, industrial, or complex B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue operations.
- Proven experience working directly with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable Salesforce solutions in evolving environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and guide without formal authority.
Preferred:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) required; Advanced Administrator preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-segment or multi-business-unit Salesforce orgs.
- Exposure to partner onboarding, channel sales, or distributor models.
- Experience helping organizations mature Salesforce usage and governance.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud, Account Engagement (Pardot), or marketing automation tools.
- Manufacturing Cloud experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting integrations with ERP or downstream systems.
- This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing or industrial B2B environments, who understands complex sales cycles, pipeline development, and forecasting, and can partner directly with the business to drive growth, adoption, and scalability.
Ideally this role would be hybrid at one of our locations in the Midwest.
Salary range is $102,000-127,000 + annual bonus opportunity
