Job purpose:
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator with a strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset to lead advanced CRM initiatives. This role will ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our Salesforce platforms while mentoring junior talent and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align tech solutions with business goals.
Job details:
- Location: 100% remote (open to candidates in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Argentina and Peru)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Costa Rica time zone)
- Job Type: Full-time contractor position, initial 3-month contract
- Language Proficiency: Spanish advanced and B2+ English level (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Availability: Immediate availability preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, manage, and optimize complex Salesforce environments (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
- Design and maintain advanced flows, multi-object automation, and robust error handling.
- Manage deployment processes using tools such as Change Sets, Git, and Copado.
- Oversee data integrations and large-scale data migrations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement Salesforce security best practices (SSO, MFA, encryption, role hierarchy).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, collaborating closely with technical teams.
- Conduct high-level reviews of Apex code for troubleshooting and analysis (no coding required).
- Document technical configurations and standard operating procedures clearly and effectively.
- Mentor junior and mid-level administrators to support continuous team growth.
- Partner with clients to align Salesforce solutions with business objectives.
Required academic background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Salesforce certifications: Administrator and either App Builder, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud.
- Additional certification in Advanced Administrator is a strong plus.
Required skills and experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator in enterprise environments, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud.
- Experienced in managing advanced flows, multi-step cross-object automation, and error handling.
- Proficient in troubleshooting complex system issues and conducting high-level reviews of Apex code.
- Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud, including advanced configuration and process optimization for large user bases.
- Solid understanding of Apex code architecture, with the ability to perform code-level debugging, testing support, and collaborate with developers to ensure scalable customizations.
- Skilled in data management operations, including large-scale data migrations and integrations.
- Knowledgeable in Salesforce security best practices, including SSO, MFA, and encryption.
- Track record of leading successful Salesforce upgrades, system migrations, and platform extensions across business units.
- Experience with deployment management tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Git, and version control best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Salesforce DX is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, cross-functional, and remote-first teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical constraints into business value.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Salesforce performance optimization.
- Additional Salesforce certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or other role-specific credentials.
- Familiarity with other CRM platforms or integration tools.
