  • Manage user lifecycle, license optimization, access reviews, and platform security (FLS, org-wide defaults, session/security settings, audit, Shield a plus)
  • Lead environment strategy and release management: sandboxes, change control, release notes, and post-release validation
  • Ensure data quality and stewardship in partnership with business teams: deduplication, validation rules, imports, ETL workflows, backup/restore, and retention policies aligned to compliance requirements
  • Partner with integration engineers on connected systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, data warehouse, CPQ); maintain connected apps, named credentials, and integration user standards
  • Support Service Cloud capabilities (e.g., case management, email-to-case, omni-channel, SLAs/entitlements, knowledge), Sales Cloud (lead management, opportunity process, forecasting, territory management) and Marketing Cloud (marketing automations, data alignment)
  • Drive governance and a Salesforce Center of Excellence: standards, documentation, architecture reviews, change advisory board participation, and platform roadmap
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support, proactive org health monitoring, and capacity planning; triage issues and root-cause problems
  • Create training materials and deliver enablement sessions to boost adoption and process excellence
  • Mentor junior admins and serve as a subject-matter expert for business partners and product owners
  • Uphold compliance with SOX, GDPR/CCPA, and internal IT controls including segregation of duties and change management

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent practical experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • 5–7+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity

  • Minimal qualifications required in order to be considered for entry into the job
  • Deep expertise with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; practical experience with Marketing Cloud, CPQ and/or Experience Cloud strongly preferred
  • Mastery of Flow and declarative automation patterns; strong understanding of when to use declarative vs. programmatic solutions
  • Working knowledge of Apex/SOQL and Lightning Web Components concepts sufficient to collaborate with developers and debug end-to-end processes
  • Proven release management experience using DevOps Center or comparable tools (e.g., SFDX, Git, Gearset/Copado) and a solid sandbox strategy
  • Strong data management skills: imports, dedupe, ETL, validation, and data governance in a complex, integrated environment
  • Experience with enterprise integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, custom APIs) and AppExchange solutions (e.g., DocuSign, Conga, LeanData) is a plus
  • Comfortable operating in an Agile/Scrum framework with backlog management and clear user stories/acceptance criteria

What We Do

Protolabs is the world's fastest digital manufacturing source for rapid prototyping and on-demand production. The technology-enabled company produces custom parts and assemblies in as fast as 1 day with automated 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and injection molding processes. Our digital approach to manufacturing enables accelerated time to market, reduces development and production costs, and minimizes risk throughout the product life cycle.

3D Printing
Our 3D printing service offers a wide selection of materials and technologies to create prototypes and end-use parts with complex geometries and detailed features. With tight process controls, careful design reviews, and extensive quality monitoring, we ensure precise and repeatable 3D-printed parts, every time.

CNC Machining
We use 3- and 5-axis milling along with turning to machine parts from commercial-grade plastics and metals. Our online quoting system and automated manufacturing process enable us to ship parts within 24 hours, helping customers accelerate development and reduce time to market.

Sheet Metal Fabrication
Protolabs is an industry leader in quick-turn sheet metal parts for both prototyping and low-volume production. Our digital approach to manufacturing enables us to fabricate sheet metal parts in as fast as 5 days. Additionally, we can support our customers’ development efforts with component assemblies, several finish options, and screen printing.

Injection Molding
Our injection molding service offers two options—prototyping and on-demand manufacturing—which provide customers a tooling solution that aligns with their project’s requirements. It’s used for quick-turn prototyping, bridge tooling, and low-volume production of up to 10,000+ parts in 15 days or less.
