Protegrity is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Admin for our Global Sales Operations team. As part of Protegrity’s talented Global Sales Operations team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of operational efficiencies that increase the sales team's output, eliminate technical debt, and contribute to the company's bottom line.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements from sales, marketing, and customer support to develop solutions that directly impacts the business. You have a strong Salesforce Admin background and can work both independently on projects and collaborate well as a team member.
A Sr. Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the Salesforce platform to support business processes, enhance user experience, and ensure data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Administration & Maintenance: Configure and maintain core Salesforce platform components, including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, custom apps, and process automation (flows, process builder, etc.).
- Ensure data integrity by implementing validation rules, workflows, and data quality standards.
- Conduct regular platform audits to identify and fix issues, ensure compliance, and optimize performance. Manage user profiles, roles, and permissions to maintain system security and integrity.
- User Support: Act as a point of contact for Salesforce related queries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions in a timely manner. Partner with the Enablement Team to develop and deliver training programs and documentation for users at different levels to maximize system adoption and effective usage.
- Process Optimization & Automation: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements and tickets in JIRA.
- Develop automated solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency, leveraging tools like Flows, Process Builder, and Apex (in coordination with developers if needed).
- Evaluate and implement new Salesforce features and updates to improve system functionality and support evolving business processes.
- Data Management & Reporting: Ensure data cleanliness and consistency through routine maintenance, deduplication, and data enrichment. Create and manage dashboards, reports, and KPIs to provide business insights and support decision-making. Oversee data imports, data cleansing, and maintain data migration best practices for any system integration.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business leaders, sales teams, and other departments to understand their needs and provide Salesforce solutions that meet organizational goals. Participate in cross functional project teams to develop, implement, and support CRM initiatives and sales operations. Serve as a liaison between end-users and technical teams to align business needs with Salesforce capabilities.
- Documentation & Compliance: Document processes, system configurations, and customizations to create a robust knowledge base for future reference. Maintain compliance with internal and external regulations, ensuring all configurations adhere to industry best practices and security standards.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience required.
- Salesforce Admin Certification required.
- Advanced Admin Certification preferred.
- Experience working with Marketo,
- User Experience and User Design experience and certifications preferred.
- Ability to provide technical knowledge and drive innovation amidst uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and solutions clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

- Candidates should be prepared to:
- Walk through specific examples of their work in Salesforce, including configurations, customizations, or automations they've built.
- Demonstrate their understanding of the deployment process using GitHub, including version control practices, handling metadata, and deploying between environments.
- Explain the thought process behind each solution, the business problem it solved, and the impact it had on the organization.
- Suggestion for Showing Work:
- Portfolio Presentation: Prepare a slide deck or portfolio that includes screenshots of significant work done in Salesforce, such as:
- Custom objects and fields, workflows, and automations they’ve built (e.g., Flow, Process Builder).
- Example dashboards and reports, explaining how they were created and what insights they provided.
- Descriptions of key deployments, with screenshots or details on how GitHub was used to manage the process and track changes.
- Live Sandbox Demonstration: If possible, candidates can demonstrate their skills in a Salesforce sandbox environment. For example:
- Show an automation or flow they’ve built and explain its components and logic.
- Run through a sample deployment process to showcase their familiarity with GitHub for version control, merging, and releasing changes.
- GitHub Repository Walkthrough: If they have GitHub repositories from previous projects (without sharing confidential data), candidates can:
- Walk through the repository structure, showing how they organize branches, track issues, and manage deployments.Highlight any documentation they added to assist team members or future admins, such as readme files, deployment instructions, or code comments.
