Mission of the Role
Are you passionate about business development and consultative sales in the industrial sector? ABB is looking for a Sales Specialist to join the Process Industries division, focused on the Metals market in Brazil.
In this role, you will play a strategic part in growing business within metallurgy and steel accounts, supporting customers with high-value solutions, including digitalization initiatives, operational efficiency improvements, and industrial modernization.
Responsibilities
Drive business development in the Metals segment across Brazil, with stronger focus on São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and the South region.
Prospect, qualify, and advance sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
Develop consultative sales plans focused on customer value creation.
Prepare and present integrated solution proposals aligned with customer technical and business needs.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with customers.
Manage sales pipeline and prepare monthly forecast updates.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define the technical scope of solutions.
Maintain post-sales relationships and identify expansion opportunities.
Participate in internal training and continuous development initiatives.
Report activities, results, and opportunities to the sales manager.
Requirements
Solid experience in B2B sales for the Metallurgy and Steel industries.
Good understanding of trends and dynamics in the Metals market.
Availability for frequent travel.
Valid driver’s license (Category B / equivalent).
Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration.
Advanced or fluent English.
Nice to Have / Differentiators
Experience with digitalization solutions in industrial environments.
Background in consultative sales of technical and integrated solutions.
Ability to navigate complex commercial environments and multiple stakeholders.
