About the Role:
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for building, leading, and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth by attracting new contractors and merchants to offer their customers Upgrade's payment options. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets, building and managing high-performing teams, and contributing to the overall go-to-market strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Drive the development and execution of sales strategies to acquire new home improvement contractors.
- Oversee the team's end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including C-suite executives.
- Refine and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Consistently overachieve team and individual targets through a customer-obsessed approach.
- Champion a high-performance, collaborative, and results-oriented sales culture.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success leadership to develop and implement account-based sales strategies.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Drive the adoption and execution of effective sales methodologies.
- Foster a passion for customer adoption, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of go-to-market strategies and sales processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure alignment and optimize sales performance.
What We Look For:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SaaS or Channel sales, with a significant portion of that time spent in sales leadership roles.
- Proven experience in building, managing, and scaling high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of full sales cycles and experience managing complex sales processes.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with a demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals.
- Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Adaptable, agile, and resilient, with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong work ethic, competitive mindset, and a desire to lead from the front.
- Willing to travel as needed.
