Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Americas Sales, this is a strategic sales leadership role focused on building and executing a channel-led motion for the mid-market segment across the Americas region. The Senior Manager, Sales will lead a small, high-impact team to drive new customer acquisition, expand existing accounts, and deliver consistent revenue growth through channel partners.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in building and executing channel sales models, with a proven ability to collaborate with partners to scale success. This leader will be hands-on, focused on developing talent, and highly skilled at fostering strong relationships with the partner leadership team and partner enablement teams. Success in this role will depend on developing a robust channel motion to drive growth for both new and existing business.
In order to drive results, the Senior Manager will focus on building a high-performance culture based on accountability, data-driven decisions, and continuous collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and executes a channel-led sales strategy to achieve mid-market revenue targets, driving new and existing business through channel partners.
- Develops strong, collaborative partnerships with the partner leadership team and partner enablement teams to align on strategy, execution, and goals.
- Coaches and mentors the sales team to leverage channel partners effectively, ensuring the team can articulate Ping Identity’s value proposition to customers via partners.
- Identifies and develops key channel partners to expand reach and build a scalable pipeline for growth.
- Builds and maintains a high-quality pipeline through joint territory planning, opportunity inspection, and forecast reviews in collaboration with channel partners.
- Leads regular account reviews and pipeline calls with internal teams and channel partners to drive alignment and accountability.
- Drives partner enablement initiatives to ensure channel partners are equipped to successfully position Ping Identity solutions.
- Supports team members and channel partners in developing strong customer relationships, serving as an escalation point when needed to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborates cross-functionally (e.g., partner enablement, marketing, product, customer success) to develop campaigns and initiatives that drive channel success.
- Recruits, develops, and retains top sales talent; conducts performance reviews and supports career growth for team members.
- Promotes a culture of teamwork, transparency, and cross-functional collaboration across the sales and channel partner ecosystem.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 2+ years building and executing channel-led sales models.
- Proven success selling to mid-market customers with a focus on new customer acquisition and expansion via channel partners.
- Experience managing a team of 3-6 sales professionals.
- Deep expertise in developing strong channel partnerships and executing partner enablement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales talent, driving individual and team performance.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through channel motions.
- Strong experience with channel sales processes, partner collaboration, and tools like Salesforce.
- Collaborative, cross-functional mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Results-oriented, highly accountable, and data-driven in decision-making.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Base Hiring Range: $120,000 - $130,000
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
