We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales and Key Accounts Leader to oversee our BloomNet sales team, drive growth through direct and indirect channels, and manage key account relationships from product development through fulfillment. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1 - Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Manage and provide direction to regional and national sales managers.
- Serve as a key liaison between internal sales teams and executive management on sales strategy and day-to-day operational needs.
- Communicate regularly with independent sales reps via phone, email, and text regarding issues, questions, and follow-ups.
- Develop and roll out sales programs, including goals, incentives, and timelines.
- Manage house accounts directly, focusing on in-line order volume and Direct Import (DI) business development.
- Maintain factory and supplier relationships for both standard in-line products and custom DI/OEM projects.
- Generate and analyze reports to provide actionable insights to reps and executive management.
2 - Key Account Management
- Partner closely with key accounts across all business types
- Lead product development initiatives for Direct Import orders, collaborating with customers and sales reps and coordinating with suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing with customers and suppliers while meeting strategic company contribution requirements
- Oversee packaging and labeling customization per account, optimizing for cost-effective shipping and pricing.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams on order placement, shipping schedules, international logistics, and warehouse coordination.
- Resolve customer service issues including delays, concessions, and quality control matters.
3 - Trade Show & Market Engagement
Pre-Show Responsibilities
- Lead Pre-show planning, including customer & rep requirements and coordination
- Schedule and confirm appointments with attending customers.
- Serve as a primary point of contact during customer visits to gather feedback and trend insights.
- Host client dinners and relationship-building events.
- Lead rep and customer walkthroughs of new product lines.
Atlanta Market / Trade Show Responsibilities
- Lead show planning, including appointment setting and rep coordination.
- Oversee all on-site logistics prior to and during market.
- Act as the "Field General" on the showroom floor, managing schedules, customer visits, and rep assignments.
- Support sales reps with walk-ins, key accounts, and troubleshooting.
- Review and approve daily orders for accurate rep crediting.
- Maintain a “first in, last out” leadership presence.
- 7+ years of experience in sales, account management, or related fields, preferably in wholesale or consumer goods.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience working with factories (domestic and overseas) and managing complex DI/OEM projects.
- Ability to interpret data and trends to inform strategy.
- Willingness to travel and be present at major trade shows and key customer meetings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
