We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Sales Compensation Partner to join our HR Compensation team in Newport Beach, CA (preferred) or Omaha, NE.
As a Senior Sales Compensation Partner, you will support the design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of sales incentive plans. You will collaborate with teammates to ensure our internal customers receive consistent guidance on compensation philosophy and processes throughout the annual cycles. To be effective this person will need to build partnerships with sales leaders, business area finance leaders, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), and internal legal counsel.
How you'll help move us forward:
- Partner with sales leaders to understand business objectives and design incentive plans that drive business outcomes while offering competitive compensation opportunities to participants.
- Develop and write formal plan documents and communications regarding sales incentive plans. Maintain plan documentation to account for updates or amendments.
- Partner with the incentive plan administration and business analytics teams to review effectiveness and competitiveness of sales incentive compensation plans and make recommendations to optimize plan design and administration.
- Conduct market pricing (job evaluation) reviews for all levels of exempt and nonexempt jobs throughout the company.
- Provide data for compensation surveys and develop criteria for special pay and incentive design studies.
- Advise sales leaders regarding consistent application of compensation policies and practices to promote employee attraction and retention.
- Participate in coordination and review of annual compensation salary adjustments and company-wide bonus plan awards.
- Collaborate with broader compensation team and key partners in the development and execution of company-wide compensation programs.
- Ensure sales compensation plans comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
The experience you bring:
- 7+ years of experience in HR Compensation &/or sales incentive plan design
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources or a related field.
- Demonstrated sales incentive compensation experience within a multi-faceted consulting, insurance and/or financial services company.
- Knowledge of regulatory and legislative matters that impact sales compensation design structure and communication.
- Advanced Excel knowledge, including the ability to manipulate large data sets and conduct scenario analyses/modeling.
- Strong verbal, written and stakeholder communication skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with sales leadership and cross-functional teams.

- Extensive experience creating communication strategies to educate sales leaders and professionals regarding incentive plan design objectives and outcomes.

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
