As a Senior Sales Executive for the Benelux region, you will own and grow a defined territory, driving a healthy mix of migration of existing business, expansion within current customers, and new logo acquisition. You’ll lead complex sales cycles with insurers, articulating the value of Guidewire’s cloud and AI capabilities, and aligning solutions to customer strategies. This is an opportunity to influence how the region’s insurers transform their businesses while contributing directly to Guidewire’s AI-powered growth and international expansion agenda.
Job Description
Own territory management across the Benelux region, proactively generating a high-quality sales pipeline and delivering balanced growth across migration of existing business, expansion within current accounts, and new logo wins.
Build and deepen trusted relationships with IT and business decision-makers at insurers, positioning Guidewire as a strategic partner for cloud, data, and AI-enabled transformation.
Lead the full enterprise sales cycle from first contact to close, including discovery, value-based positioning, solution shaping with product experts, business case development, commercial negotiation, and seamless handover to post-sales teams.
Coordinate with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and Professional Services to execute territory and account plans that support Guidewire’s GTM priorities in AI-powered innovation, new product categories (such as pricing and underwriting), and international expansion into key EMEA markets.
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account data in company systems, using insights to inform decisions, improve sales performance, and stay aligned with structured, data-driven GTM execution.
Manage post-sale executive relationships in collaboration with Customer Account Management and Customer Success, helping ensure adoption, measurable value realization, and strong customer references.
Deliver compelling technical and functional presentations and product demonstrations with specialists and advisors, clearly conveying how Guidewire’s cloud and AI capabilities improve operational efficiency, underwriting quality, and customer experience for P&C insurers.
Prepare persuasive proposals and quotations that align with client expectations and Guidewire guidelines, while monitoring competitor activity and sharing market and competitive insights with Marketing and Product to strengthen our positioning.
Represent Guidewire at customer meetings, onsite workshops, and insurance industry events across Belgium and the Netherlands, traveling regularly as needed to build presence and accelerate regional growth.

What you’ll bringRequired
Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Significant experience in complex B2B software or SaaS sales, ideally within insurance, financial services, or closely related enterprise technology markets.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a territory or account management role, including both new logo acquisition and expansion within existing customers.
Experience selling to both IT and business stakeholders, with the ability to navigate multi-level, multi-stakeholder decision processes and build long-term, trust-based executive relationships.
Strong consultative and value-based selling skills, including discovery, qualification, solution mapping, business case creation, and negotiation for high-value, multi-year software or platform deals.
Excellent collaboration skills, with a history of working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Services, and Operations to execute go-to-market and account strategies.
Clear, inclusive communication skills in written and spoken form, with the ability to adapt messaging for executive, technical, and business audiences.
Proficiency in English; additional fluency in French and/or Dutch is highly beneficial for success in the Benelux region.
Preferred
Experience selling cloud-based platforms, data/analytics, or AI-enabled solutions into P&C insurers or the wider insurance ecosystem.
Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies and long-cycle, multi-million-euro software or platform transactions.
Knowledge of the Benelux P&C insurance landscape, including regulatory, competitive, and market dynamics.
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

You’ll qualify and advance strategic opportunities, refine value propositions around our cloud and AI capabilities, and help align internal teams around clear win strategies and measurable outcomes such as bookings, adoption milestones, and customer references.
As you grow in the role, your work will shape how insurers in Benelux modernize on Guidewire, influence our product and marketing direction through market feedback, and contribute directly to Guidewire’s mission to transform how the world’s P&C insurers do business.
