Searcys are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join the team at 116 Pall Mall. 

As a Senior Sales Executive you will be managing the sales and event bookings for the venue, working on reactive and proactive sales enquires and planning a wide variety events including intimate gatherings and weddings, allowing you to show exquisite detail, service excellence and showstopping food.

116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally de-signed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion. This venue benefits from traditional meeting rooms to glamourous chandelier filled ballrooms.

Job Description

Job Type: Full Time 

£39k base salary - up to 20% bonus of annual salary

Start date - July 2026 

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing the planning and execution of high-profile events. This role is perfect for a sales-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in event sales and planning.

Role Main Purpose:

· To proactively source new clients and build key accounts for 116 Pall Mall

-To assist with filling gaps in the diary with the use of key accounts

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and convert sales enquiries and sales opportunities for the venue and Searcys.
  • To generate and contribute sales which will then achieve the venues monthly/quarterly annual budget, profitability targets and deadlines.
  • To maximise all revenue opportunities for the venue and Searcys.
  • Deliver sales into the venue to achieve the monthly and annual sales target.
  • Receive incoming enquiries in accordance with the Sales Department standards and procedures and to convert them into confirmed business.
  • Conduct show arounds and client visits to a high standard.
  • Help oversee the diary ensuring that all information is accurate, up to date and that all the correct revenue has been inputted.
  • Ensure venue product knowledge and seasonal menus are communicated to clients and actively upsell to increase average spends and revenue opportunities.
  • Create and complete function sheets – detailing all event requirements from start to finish.
  • Ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and checked. Ensuring billing invoices are completed within agreed timeframes and debt is chased.
  • Maintain good working relationship with the venue and other Searcys sites.
  • Ensure accurate billing for all assigned events.
  • Regularly convert new business from proactive activities, such as proactive calls, building key accounts, sourcing new clients (local and/or International) and assisting with filling the gaps in the diary when required.
  • Regularly organise proactive site visits with new prospective clients
  •  Produce monthly reports for the HOS and GM on the proactive engagement
  • Organise a quarterly FAM trip with prospective clients
  • To represent the venue for trade shows and networking opportunities
  • Assist with implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Support with training and mentoring the Sales Executives and their development

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event sales within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company.

• A strong sales mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• A passion for delivering exceptional events and client experiences.

• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

• Knowledge of London’s events and hospitality market is an advantage.
