Position Overview
The Senior Sales Engineer will support and guide Sales Engineers while working with the Direct Sales and Alliance teams to provide subject matter expertise for our tax information reporting solutions.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide regional sales engineering support, with a focus in Chile and other LATAM markets while partnering with regional sales teams to address client needs and support business growth
- Provide superior domain expertise around Tax Information Reporting
- Demonstrate expertise in Trust Services and digital identity solutions, including biometric authentication technologies (facial recognition, fingerprint recognition), supporting client use cases across regulated industries with a focus on security, fraud prevention, and compliant onboarding processes
- Challenge bad sales processes and behaviors and establish and support best practices
- Maintain expert level understanding of functionality and technical architecture of our products
- Assist in the client discovery process to help uncover unforeseen challenges and ensure the proper offering is being proposed
- Guide the strategic efforts to conduct sales and solutions presentations for clients of all sizes
- Develop and lead training sessions both within and outside the Sales Engineer department
- Assist Sales Engineers in designing and delivering customized solution demonstrations using Sovos SaaS solutions and services
- Service as a subject matter expert surrounding the creation of RFP and RFI responses for prospective new clients
- Work closely with the on-boarding team ensuring a seamless handoff from sales to on-boarding for new clients
- Maintain and continually improve demonstration capabilities, conducting internal Sales department training, demo system props and proposal content
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum 4+ years’ of sales related experience
- Advanced English, both spoken and written.
- Customer facing experience, required
- Experience in digital identity, cybersecurity, fintech, or fraud prevention environments is highly preferred
- Ability to be strategic towards business outcomes as well as manage and handle day-to-day details and deadlines
- Strong team orientation with a history of working collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities (at times conflicting), remain focused under pressure and work extended hours as required
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office software including Excel, Word, & Power Point
- Well-developed business ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of discretion
- Self-motivated and strong drive to succeed
- Ability to pass a background, drug and credit check
