Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson's Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security.
The Senior Sales Engineer is the Sales Team's premier subject matter expert in Wireless WAN and is well-versed in 4G LTE, and 5G Mobile Telecommunication systems/architectures.
This specialist is responsible for working directly with customers, partners, and other SEs to support Wireless WAN opportunities and drive Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solution's revenue. Additionally, this individual contributes to growing the overall expertise of the SE organization, has stewardship of/collaborates on Wireless WAN related product feature requests with product management, and acts as a liaison for customers with the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solution's Product and Engineering Teams.
What you will do:
  • Manage Wireless WAN SE/Customer/Partner engagement through to completion.
  • Develop labs, training, documentation, etc. on related products and features.
  • Partner with sales executives with solution selling into assigned account base.
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
  • Promote, conduct, and manage Proof of Concepts, trials, and demonstrations in the field.
  • Document customer and industry use cases for internal and external use.
  • Provide customers and prospects with hands-on configuration assistance and training.
  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements.
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence.

The skills you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 5-7+ years of proven pre-sales systems engineering experience in 3GPP cellular and networking technologies.
  • Strong experience in pre-sales technical solution selling within complex enterprise sales environments.
  • Solid understanding of private/public cloud design, containerization, distributed systems, load balancing, and LTE architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including routing & switching, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, VPN, security, SSE/SASE.
  • Experience with edge enterprise routing, wireless, security, and broadband wireless architectures (5G NSA/SA, LTE).
  • Proven track record selling networking, wireless, or security solutions to enterprise customers, system integrators, and reseller partners.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences, including senior executives.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills; experienced in webinars, events, and executive engagements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and resolve objections.
  • Self-motivated, accountable team player with strong business acumen who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on experience with VPN technologies, network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACL, NAT), and Wi-Fi solutions (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus).
  • Familiarity with automation and integration technologies (Python, JSON, REST APIs, Docker) and network testing tools (e.g., IXIA, Spirent) is advantageous.
  • Based in Singapore with flexibility to travel across Asia.
