Role summary:

As a Sales Engineer, and an integral member of the successful NORDIC Sales Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with key customers, our distributor network, customer alliances and keeping Flowserve in line with market trends. You will also develop a keen understanding of Flowserve operations to enhance selling the overall products and services Flowserve has to offer.

Your role:

  • Meet and/or exceed annual sales plan.
  • Maintain regular, planned communication with key customers in the area you support
  • Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives to support organizational goals
  • Become the first point of contact for your key accounts, ensuring all customer concerns are being addressed
  • Educate customers on the quality, features and uses of our products through the full use of the company’s marketing materials, with full access to Engineering Specialist Teams
  • Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to ensure customers’ needs are met
  • Knowledge of the design and operational requirements of rotating pumps, mechanical seals and related equipment
  • Skilled at product demonstrations, presentations and business writing
  • Maintain CRM system to provide accurate job by job overview
  • Demonstrate financial acumen to discuss business decisions, particularly return on investment in support of solution selling
  • Able to work independently, efficiently and communicate productively with others
  • Some physical activity required, such as walking large customer sites, and ascending/descending ladders and staircases in multi-story facilities

Your profile :

  • Sales experience with rotating equipment such as pumps and mechanical seals (an understanding of Pump & Seal Fundamentals is required as well)
  • Industrial Experience required, preferably across multiple industries where Pumps & Seal reliability is important – Chemical/Power/CO2 Capture / Refinery
  • Demonstrated skills in leading meetings, including setting agendas, preparing, facilitating discussions and assigning follow-up activities
  • Have an understanding of Root Cause Failure Analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Please note this role requires travels throughout Denmark and Sweden (approx. 60%). This is a technical sales role, and our customers require local support and relationships.
