Responsibilities of a Senior Sales Engineer:
- Own the technical sales cycle: lead discovery, design solution architecture, and coordinate strategies with GADs to win enterprise pursuits.
- Design and deliver persuasive product stories and demonstrations that map prospect pain to Mediafly’s differentiators and ROI.
- Build and manage bespoke demo environments, proof of concepts, and sandboxes that replicate prospect scenarios and scale seamlessly for live or recorded presentations.
- Lead enterprise RFP efforts, ensuring compliant, compelling responses and turning unmet requests into structured feedback that shapes our roadmap.
- Liaison between client technical teams and internal services teams, write SOWs for project plans and coordinate the handoff to Customer Success for all won opportunities to ensure a successful transition.
- Proactively maintain a high-level of knowledge of Mediafly’s software solutions and service delivery operations
- Assist with internal enablement and customer facing content creation for commercial teams.
- Serve as the bridge between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, using customer feedback to drive roadmap discussions and influence company initiatives.
What you will bring:
- You weave data, visuals, and anecdotes into compelling stories for C-suite audiences
- Customer oriented, and experienced building client relationships with a range of company sizes
- 4-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role, with a minimum 5 years overall experience in selling or administering complex technology products.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an account pursuit team
- Experienced with sales methodologies that focus on discovery and needs analysis.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English and German. Additional languages are a plus!
- Able to travel to meet with prospects & clients on occasion.
- You have experience with one or more of CRM, CMS, LMS, or Value Selling tools. Advanced Powerpoint/Visual Storytelling is a plus.
