A Day in the LifeJoin Medtronic ANZ's Commercial IT Sales Enablement team based in Macquarie Park, Sydney. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders across the ANZ region to optimise commercial technology platforms, enhance sales processes, and drive adoption of digital capabilities.As a trusted advisor, you will help shape and deliver technology-enabled solutions across platforms including Salesforce, Agentforce, Jira, Tableau, and Power BI to improve commercial effectiveness, user experience, and business performance. This is a Flex role based in Macquarie Park, NSW.
As a Salesforce Enablement Specialist, you will serve as a key partner between commercial teams and technology functions, helping to maximise the value of Medtronic's sales technology ecosystem. You will identify opportunities to improve processes, drive digital transformation initiatives, optimise Salesforce capabilities, and support the successful adoption of technology solutions that enable sales teams to work more effectively and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with Sales, Commercial Excellence, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve customer-facing processes through technology-enabled solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, and related commercial technology platforms, providing strategic guidance and functional expertise.
Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and business process optimisation initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and user experience.
Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of commercial technology solutions through stakeholder engagement, change management, training, and user enablement activities.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder workshops to support successful project delivery.
Collaborate with technology, development, and vendor teams to deliver scalable solutions, integrations, and system enhancements aligned to business priorities.
Monitor platform utilisation, user adoption, and business outcomes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased value realisation.
Stay informed of emerging Salesforce capabilities, digital technologies, and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions that support commercial growth.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in commercial technology, CRM, business systems, sales operations, or a related field.
Experience supporting and optimising CRM (eg. Salesforce) platforms, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, within a commercial or customer-facing environment.
Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements, improve processes, and deliver technology solutions that support commercial objectives.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments and using tools such as Jira.
Demonstrated stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Consultant, or related Salesforce certification.
Experience with Agentforce, Field Service Lightning, Salesforce integrations, or broader customer engagement technologies.
Experience within medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or a highly regulated industry.
Experience leading digital transformation, CRM optimisation, or commercial technology projects.
Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI to support adoption and business decision-making.
