Job Summary:
We
are seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Account Manager to join our
growing team. This key role is responsible for managing and strengthening
long-term relationships with our high-value strategic clients. As the primary
point of contact for these accounts, you will ensure client needs are
effectively addressed while driving sustainable business growth, achieving
sales targets, and building strong, value-driven partnerships.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans
to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships
with key decision-makers at strategic accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and
expand Ansys’ footprint within assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver
tailored presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate complex contracts and manage the
sales process from prospecting to closure.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet
revenue targets and ensure accurate reporting through CRM systems such as
Salesforce.
- Monitor account performance, analyze sales
data, and present insights and progress reports to senior leadership.
- Provide market feedback to support product
innovation and inform go-to-market strategies.
- Track industry trends and competitor
activities to position Ansys as a solutions leader.
- Lead and manage a team of Account
Representatives (ARs) and Account Managers (AMs).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in
engineering, Business, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in
technical or solution-based sales; MBA degree is desirable.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience leading and
managing a sales team
- Proven experience in engineering or
simulation software sales (e.g., Ansys) with strong understanding of industries
such as aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales
processes and account management principles.
- Experience using CRM tools, especially
Salesforce, for pipeline and data management.
- Ability to analyze customer needs,
competitor activity, and market trends to inform account strategy.
- Proficiency in preparing business cases,
quotations, and contract documentation.
- Excellent communication and presentation
skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of the Middle East
business landscape, with an established network and the ability to build strong
relationships with key decision-makers.

Skills Required
