Broadridge is seeking a sales-driven professional to grow our Issuer Solutions business in the San Francisco Bay Area. You’ll build on relationships with an existing portfolio of corporate issuer clients while proactively uncovering opportunities, developing a pipeline and closing business. This role is well suited to a self-starter who enjoys engaging senior decision-makers and connecting client challenges with solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with senior legal, corporate governance and investor relations professionals.
- Proactively identify client needs and pursue opportunities to expand Broadridge’s work with existing accounts.
- Present solutions across investor communications, corporate governance, shareholder services, and SEC filing services and software, tailoring each presentation to the client.
- Lead sales opportunities from discovery through proposals, contract negotiations and close.
- Help clients interpret shareholder ownership and proxy voting data, and discuss challenges arising from new SEC regulations.
- Develop budgets for shareholder communication events and represent Broadridge at governance and investor relations events throughout the Bay Area.
- Partner with internal teams to support client retention and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- At least five years of sales experience as an Account Manager or Account Executive; relevant industry experience may be considered in place of this requirement.
- Experience identifying opportunities, building a pipeline and closing sales with senior stakeholders.
- Strong sales presentation, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, investor relations, shareholder services, SEC filings or related corporate issuer needs.
- Ability to interpret SEC rules and discuss their implications with clients, drawing on internal experts as appropriate.
- A self-directed approach and the ability to match solutions to client needs.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with the ability to travel up to 20%.
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $100,000.00- $120,000.00 USD.
Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
