About the Role
The sales team at ACTIVE Network, a Global Payments Company, challenges the world to become more ACTIVE. We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to drive new business growth within our Youth & Education market, with a primary focus on selling our Camp & Class Manager (CCM) SaaS solution.
This role is designed for an experienced, consultative seller who thrives in multi-stakeholder sales cycles and is comfortable navigating moderately complex buying environments. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through close—while working within an established team and proven go-to-market motion.
You will engage with private K-12 schools, districts, and youth-serving organizations, balancing self-generated pipeline with inbound and SDR-supported opportunities, and leveraging internal resources to consistently drive results.
What does a Senior Account Executive do?- Own and execute a sales plan within the Youth & Education market, primarily focused on our CCM product
Prospect into and develop new opportunities across private K-12 schools, school networks, districts, and youth-serving organizations
Work both self-generated and SDR/inbound opportunities to build a balanced pipeline
Navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups, including administrators, program directors, finance, and IT
Lead consultative sales motions with strong discovery, value articulation, and solution alignment
Build and manage a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting and strong stage discipline
Coordinate all aspects of the sales process, including discovery, demos, proposals, and contract negotiation
Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs, operational challenges, and growth goals
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, SDRs, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to drive outcomes
Consistently meet or exceed annual bookings and revenue targets
What makes a successful Senior Account Executive in Youth & Education?
5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or a consultative sales environment
Experience managing full sales cycles with moderate deal complexity and multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to generate pipeline while effectively working inbound and SDR-supported opportunities
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover pain, quantify value, and align solutions
Experience selling into education, youth services, or similar markets is a plus
Comfortable navigating procurement, legal, and standard approval processes
Strong presentation, discovery, and communication skills
Highly organized and disciplined with CRM hygiene (Salesforce or similar)
Ability to operate effectively in a performance-driven environment with clear targets and accountability
