Senior Rust Engineer (Accounting Team)

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our small Accounting & Reconciliation squad within Cryptio's SaaS platform. Your team will build high-performance solutions for cost basis and PnL computations, maintain our automated reconciliation tool (AutoRec), and enhance our reporting pipeline to handle large-scale financial data.

This role offers a unique opportunity to tackle complex accounting and financial challenges in the cryptocurrency space. You'll develop critical features that help clients navigate the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets—ranging from sophisticated cost basis computations to automated reconciliation systems that process millions of transactions efficiently. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and accurate financial reporting.

• Contribute to the development of core accounting and reconciliation features

• Write and ship production grade Rust code

• Document and test your code

• Work closely with product teams to ensure new features meet user needs

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Production experience in Rust

• Experience with high-performance systems and OLAP databases (ClickHouse or similar)

• Strong PostgreSQL design and optimisation skills

• Background in data-heavy products and system optimisation

• Excellent communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders

• Fluent spoken and written English

• A collaborative mindset and problem-solving attitude
