Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Automate Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated workflows and processes using Microsoft Power Automate. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation technologies and best practices, with a proven track record in delivering complex automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development:
    Develop end-to-end automation solutions using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
    Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into automated workflows and solutions.
  • Solution Architecture:
    Architect scalable and reusable automation solutions that align with business requirements.
    Design complex workflows, integrate third-party applications, and ensure that solutions are robust and maintainable.
  • Integration:
    Integrate Microsoft Power Automate with a wide range of data sources and systems, including Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, etc.), external APIs, and databases.
    Work with data connectors, custom connectors, and other integration techniques to deliver seamless workflows.
  • Testing & Debugging:
    Perform thorough testing and debugging of Power Automate solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.
    Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure minimal business disruption.
  • Performance Optimization:
    Continuously optimize the performance of existing workflows to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    Conduct performance analysis and propose improvements to automate processes effectively.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and IT staff, to deliver successful automation projects.
    Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for Power Automate development.
  • Documentation:
    Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and process workflows.
    Ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date for future reference and audits.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay current with new features, updates, and best practices in Power Automate and the broader Microsoft Power Platform.
    Provide recommendations for leveraging new features to enhance business processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on automation, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Power Automate.
    Experience with other Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents) is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
    Strong knowledge of Power Automate capabilities, connectors, and best practices.
    Expertise in integrating Power Automate with Microsoft 365 applications and third-party systems.
    Experience with APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and JSON.
    Proficient in PowerShell and scripting for automation.
  • Business Process Understanding:
    Strong ability to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and design effective workflow solutions.
    Understanding of workflow automation concepts and process optimization techniques.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues in a timely manner.
    Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across various platforms and technologies.
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps and other cloud-based automation platforms.
  • Experience working with large, enterprise-level Power Automate implementations.
